What is a Foodsharing Point?
This is a fridge and / or shelf containing food that has been placed by private individuals and can be taken away by anyone free of charge. These foodsharing points are publicly available.

Who can use a Foodsharing Point?
Our foodsharing points are public, which means they are accessible to everyone. That's why you do not need to be a member of Foodsharing Luxembourg.

Is all food allowed in a Foodsharing Point?
This information is also available on every fridge. In particular products containing raw eggs and alcohol are NOT allowed.

Who keeps this place clean?
Our volunteer members take care of this. All refrigerators have guidelines, such as a cleaning plan, which are kept up to date by our volunteer members.

Foodsharing Luxembourg is present at various events to inform and raise awareness of food waste. We do this with information booths, but also with cooking actions, where we cook with saved food and distribute it for free.
